This is a very moving story Freya McFadden had always been a fun loving girl studying to be a midwife that was until she fell in love with the wrong guy one who wanted to control her and when he lost that control he decided that no one should have her so he threw acid on her, this is life changing but Freya continues her study and becomes a midwife she loves her job and works nights to keep out of the spotlight. But a fancy dress fundraising ball changes her life.
When Freya attends the fancy dress fundraising ball she can be herself under cover of a veil so when she encounters a pirate she is attacked to instantly like never before and becomes bold and makes a pass which leads to a very sensual encounter with a stranger that leaves her pregnant with twins and then to meet him at work weeks later her heart is pounding.
Jamie is a midwife a good one it had been his passion for many years so much so that he had to leave his country to follow his dreams but he is a Prince, Prince Jameel Al Bakhari of Majidar who now lives in England. He starts at a new hospital and who does he run into but the woman he has not forgotten and she is pregnant and he will do what he has to do to keep Freya and his babies.
Freya is so scared by her past that she finds it hard to be out and about but Jamie only sees her beauty and her strength, there are a lot of hurdles for them both to cross before they can get to their HEA but get there they do. Freya comes across a bit stubborn but I do understand why and I really felt for her and Jamie is just the best hero he is so caring and loving, so I highly recommend this one for all who love a good medical romance and babies. Thank you MS Heaton for another fab story.
